dear family and friends of Brandons
i am a great friend of Brandons and im am so sorry to hear that you have lost your son to such a tragic event. i loved him when i dated him and i still love him dearly and i always will. the last time i talked to him he told me that he will always be with me no matter if he was on earth or was no longer. i didnt know what to say to that at that time and i still dont but to say thank you to him. if it was not for him i would have been gone a long time ago. he helped me to understand that i am loved and i was wanting to let you know that he is loved by everyone. my sister never met him but read the page and wants to tell you as well that she is so sorry that this had to happen to such a wonderful guy and his family.
im so sorry and i wish there was something that i could do to help you. on the first i am going to the military youth academy but once i am out i will come and see how things are going and i will have something i want your family to have. your son had written alot of poems to me when we were together and i want you to have them back. well im so sorry about what has happend and i hope that you all get better and understand that no matter what he is always with us. i will keep you all in my prayers and everyone at my church is praying for all of you as well. thank you for having such a wonderful son that showed me a better path in life.
lots of love from his great friend MIKYLA.
You were a great friend  / Alex Johnson (friend)

Brandon will be remebered, a friend like him will never be forgotten. Even for those who briefly knew him. I saw him while i was on leave during July. I'm glad i saw him before the accident. I had been gone so long and yet he still remembered me. He is the greatest friend anyone could ask for. We miss you Brandon. Thanks for being a great friend.

Thank you Brandon  / Chelsea Crabill (Friend)
When times got hard, you were always there.
Helping me through me  though times and despair.
You held my hand and got me through.
I couldn't have made it without help from you.

You were the one who held my hand.
You were the one that could understand.
You listened to what I had to say.
You were there with me, all the way.

When I needed to cry, you held close.
You were the one, that cared the most.
You dried my tears whenever I cried.
Without you, I could have died.

You guided me through the darkest days.
You helped me out in so many ways.
I don't know how I could ever repay.
So this is what I have to say.

Thank you for being there when times got hard.
Thank you for caring and mending me heart.
Thank you for always being the one that was there.
Thank you for bring the one who always cared.

Dear Mr. and Mrs Cope,

My heart goes out to you after the death of your son ,Brandon. No words of mine can ease your grief, but I want you to know I am sorry for the pain you are feeling. As a parent myself, this is especially heartbreaking. The kindness you have shown in choosing tissue donation to help others is a special gift that will never be forgotten.

I am written to let you know of the many lives that will be touched through your compassion and Brandon's gift of life. A 42-year old woman and a 39-year old women in Washingon state have regained their sight through the transplant of Brandon's corneas. Their ability to see the things and people we so often take for granted will change their lives and those of loved ones. Two people should receive lifesaving heart valve transplants through your son's donation. Without value transplants these individuals would still be experiecing the agonizing wait for a second chance at life. Four people may receive tendon transplants allowing them to walk, run, and paticipate in whatever Alaska-type activities they wish, free from knee pain. Bone transplants will be for those with non-healing fratures, bone cancer, trauma repair, birth defects, or hip transplant. Several potential vien transplants may mean a limb-saving vein bypass surgery. It may be that someone will be spared the devastation of amputation by a major bone replacement transplant. Several potenial vien transplants may mean a limb-saving vien bypass surgery. For all of these recipients and their families, life will take on a very special significance knowing that you and your son have given them the most precious gifts possible.

All of us at Life Alaska extend our heartfelt sorrow. I hope the material Amory Ortega sent to you was helpful. Please free to call us with questions or concerns, or just to talk. Please let us know if you would like additional information on tranplants made possible by Brandon's gift and we will make our best efforts to obtain this information,
Sincerely, Life Alaska Donor Services Chief Executive Officer

2 My lil Homie- 4 Brandon C.

To my lil homie... I pray you rest in peace.
You live on in many hearts , though physically deceased.

I remember your smile :) and also your tearz.
I remember that strength that overcame all fearz.

How you fought in every way for what waz seen az right.
Iz what made you unique, for not many alike.

You had a bad temper, in that way we're the same.
BUT I acted on my anger while YOUR GENTLE wayz remained!

We would alwayz compete & compare, just like brotherz do.
You are my brother. Cuz in my eyes, your mother'z my mother, TOO.

Your family iz my family, they BLESSED me with a canopy.
& when my father left, they kept me from insanity.

Lil Homie.... We've all been scarred by this tragedy.
.....BUT we know you wont rest happily knowing your family livez unhappily.

So for the time that I grieve, PLEASE accept my apologiez.
Though you've passed from this life, in my HEART you will alwayz be.

From your brother, With Love Always Taylor Smith
